My Story
Hi, I am Donelle and I live in Naples, FL with my husband. I am a preschool teacher by day and an obsessive sewist and crafter in my free time.
I took up sewing because I wanted a new hobby and I quickly realized this was something I want to do long-term. I focus on sewing quilts, pouches, accessories, home decor items, and handbags.
Other hobbies I enjoy are camping, hiking, and geocaching with my husband and our corgi, Jazz, as well as reading, general crafting, and baking bread.
I started DonelleCreates as a way for my family and friends to see what I was working on and eventually it led to special requests and custom orders.
